Hope on Haven Hill Named Nonprofit of the Year by Dover Chamber

On April 28th, the Dover Chamber of Commerce honored Hope on Haven Hill during its annual awards gala, naming HHH the “Nonprofit of the Year”.

During her acceptance speech, Kerry Norton, HHH Executive Director, said, “Our small founding group became very vocal about the dire need for services. As our vision for a Hope on Haven Hill came into focus, the community, private donors, the state all got behind the rally to help more than 250 to 300 women each year that are looking for services.”

Norton credited HHH supporters for stepping up to meet the needs of our clients. “[The moms] begin to believe that they matter and that the community does care about them and their children. That makes a big difference. ” Norton said. “The moms are real heroes to our organization.”

Hope on Haven Hill is honored to be recognized alongside the very deserving group of businesses and individuals who were acknowledged for their contributions to the Dover area and surrounding communities.
