Hope on Haven Hill Hosts Successful Community Outreach Event

ROCHESTER, NH – Hope on Haven Hill (HHH) held a vibrant community event on Thursday,
May 8th, 2025, from 12–3 PM in the parking lot of the Center for Hope and Wellness on Charles
Street. Certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians from the organization conducted free car
seat safety checks for parents and grandparents, replacing three seats that were either
expired or inappropriate for the child’s age or size. Educational materials on child passenger
safety were also distributed to attendees.

In addition to the seat checks, the event provided a variety of free resources for families,
including:
• Diapers in all sizes, baby wipes, toys, food, and children’s clothing
• Shoes, clothing, and accessories for women
• Harm reduction resources, offered in collaboration with SOS Recovery
The event highlighted Hope on Haven Hill’s continued commitment to supporting families and
promoting child safety throughout the Greater Rochester community.
